What is face powder?

Face powders are mild powders designed to set makeup and help it last longer.
Face powders are a fixture in almost every makeup lovers life, but they have become an increasingly complicated subject. We all are in search of a perfect face powder to match with our skin tone, type and personality. The stay matte powder helps lock in makeup, keeps concealer from creasing under your eyes and adds an extra layer of oil prevention on very oily areas. The powder claims to be translucent but there is a slight tone to it and the coloring can make deeper skin tones look ashy. If you have a darker skin and already bought this powder, try using a very light hand when applying to minimize this problem.

This powder doesn’t make you break out during the high humidity and stays in place during a long day. One more good thing about this foundation is , if you have a spot on your face it doesn’t make it super noticeable whereas some other powders can do. This powder completes your style and give you a matte aspect and this is highly affordable product.

Glamour is Pakistan’s no.1 cosmetics brand and this brand has a wide range of makeup products. Specifically if we talk about their face powder which has all the qualities of a good face powder that everyone demands for. This powder gives an even look to your face along with foundation.

It will be helpful to remove oiliness of the skin and the patches. It erases pores and marches natural tone. A good powder to set in your foundation and blush, it don’t give you shiny look from your oily skin and it leaves a good coverage too. It sets your makeup so well without making it look patchy and gives a really pretty look to your face. There are so many shades available for all types of skin. This is the local brand and is easily available in all cosmetics store.

FIT ME!! MATTE AND PORE LESS FACE POWDER:

As in my previous article. I’ve discussed about this brand. This is an American brand, I’ve told you about their foundation before, now here I’m gonna tell you about their face powder.
Fit me matte plus pore less powder from maybelline new York beyond skin tone matching to fit the unique texture issues of normal skin fit. Fit me matte plus pore less face powder provides long lasting, control shine and upto 12HR wear for a natural, pore less looking finish. Build able coverage and doesn’t clog pores.

The texture of this powder is fine and smooth. This powder can be used anywhere on your face, it has a tiny bit of brightness, but it feels nice because if it’s light medium coverage. It decreases appearance of blemishes and pores and gives you a smooth skin. It blends very well with the skin and is long lasting.

It is ideally for normal to oily skin, this long lasting powder leaves a natural pore less looking.
It is very light and not really heavy. It can be use as a bronzer or contour as well  if you find a few shades darker than your skin tone.

Whenever I buy any of the make up product I always research all of my cosmetics before I buy, because I don’t want any questionable ingredient in my make up that could be bad for my skin. That’s why when I was looking for a new make up to use, Max factor caught my eye. I was so immediately impressed because as I read about the brand I found that Mr Max factor is in fact, one of the original fathers of cosmetics .So then from that day I decided to try their products.. Here in this article I’m going to give you reviews about their foundation.

So Max factor radiant lift long lasting radiance foundation does exactly what it says on the bottle, it’s radiance, long lasting quality and hydration never make you feel dry or caky. It gives you a comprehensive , medium to fill kind of coverage, a surprisingly light and fresh texture and a very nice dose of glow.

SEPHORA COLLECTION 10HR PERFECTION FOUNDATION:

As I’ve discussed about this brand before in my previous article which was about primers but here in this article I’m discussing about their foundation which is all time my favorite foundation.
Their foundation is really amazing, it’s consistency is pretty thick which is good for those who’ve dry skin despite the thick consistency the foundation is surprisingly light on the skin. It doesn’t feel wet like other foundations that feel tacky for hours after application, but their foundation really finishes natural.

“Sephora collection 10HR perfection foundation” evens out skin tone and is infused with antioxidants and bit E for a youthful look.It slightly blurs pores and doesn’t oxidise.. Also it doesn’t turn your t-tone into an oil factory. The wearing time is excellent, lasts upto 9 hours at least, and also it doesn’t accentuate fine line and wrinkles.

MASARRAT MISBAH SILK FOUNDATION:

So to start off, I’m going to review our very own home based brand. Yes, You got that right! I’m going to reviewing Masarrat misbah make-up here , but specifically her silk foundation which has caused an uproar amongst the beauty industry.This foundation has 13 shades in total with porcelain being the lightest and latte being the darkest which is according to the Pakistani skin tones.This weightless liquid formula tunes into your skin’s need, controlling oil where there is shine and moisturizing where it’s patchy for a long wearing balanced look with true coverage.

It sets on the skin smoothly and doesn’t gives you a cake-y look.The thing I loved about this foundation is that it feels matte but gives you a very natural glowy finished look. The texture is easy to apply, spread and blend without a lot of effort, it has a very light formula that settles in the skin easily without giving the uneasy feeling of a second skin. Since this formula has a tendency to transfer, it would be better to use a primer before applying it.
